Just a couple of years ago, it was easy to assume that Wi-Fi would outperform mobile data in most cases. However, that is no longer true. As cell carriers make improvements, Wi-Fi has stagnated. According to a study by OpenSignal, in 33 countries around the globe mobile internet speed is now faster than that of wireless networks.
